40-7

The San Antonio Spurs have had quite a season so far, winning 40 of their first 47 games.  But where is this success coming from? What is fueling this hurricane of winning?

The main reason is simple: they're healthy.  The big three (Parker, Ginobili, and Duncan) have thus far had a rare, injury-free season.  Don't misunderstand. The Spurs did not earn 40 wins by playing 3-on-5 every night.  The support of the likes of Dejuan Blair, Richard Jefferson and George Hill, to name a few, has been excellent this year.  The Spurs play as a single unit more than any other team in the NBA and it's paying off.
